Text Box: Welcome back MCG Families. We pray that you have had a fun yet restful summer. We are ready for an exciting new school year. And what better way to start the year off than with the holy month of Ramadan. The children will be learning about this special month for the weeks to come. We will be exploring questions, such as: Why is Ramadan a special time for Muslims? Why do we fast? What are Text Box: Iftar and sahur? We will also teach them about the Holy Quran and It’s Revelation with an approach that allows the children to grasp the basic concepts of Islam in its simplest form. InshAllah these are just a few of the issues that will be explored this month. FIRST WEEK GITTERS: The first weeks of school can be a bit Text Box: nerve wrecking for all the newcomers and even some of those returning. Remember to reassure your child that everything will be O.k. with lots of hugs and kisses. We will do our utmost to make your child feel safe and welcomed in their new environment.Text Box: BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT: Due to the Ramadan schedule, we will be holding our Back to School Night on Wednesday, September 23rd. The key to each child’s success begins with the support and involvement of his of her parents.
