As for our Kindergarten program / foundation:

Kindergartners are exposed to the Muslim environment MCG has to offer during one of the most important years of a child's educational career

  •  The Kindergarten program follows the California Content Standards while teaching the following subjects: Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Visual and Performing Arts, Computers and Physical Education
  • Houghton Mifflin (California Edition) Curriculum is used in both the areas of Language Arts and Math
  • Quran and Islamic studies: By the end of the year they are expected to recite and memorize 20 Suras from Juzz Amma ( starting sura No.96 Al-Alaq). They will learn the pillars of Iman, the pillars of Islam, Seera along with other prophet stories.
  • The small class setting in MCG's Kindergarten Program lends to more direct student/teacher interaction
